Meet the Team

Franki is the founder of Balance UK. Franki has always loved dancing, exercise and teaching. Franki started this business from home and built it into the amazing community it is today! Franki is a fun, experienced, compassionate and encouraging instructor. Everyone who comes to classes loves her and she gives so much to Balance UK. Franki trained with some of the best in the business and continues to train in advanced techniques to bring only the best to her community. Franki has helped individuals come back from injuries, helped them with back pain, helped people rebuild their core and gain their confidence and strength back! Outside of Pilates Franki is a mum to a lovely little boy and a fur mama to her Haribo. She enjoys being outdoors, being with family and friends and loves dancehall music!

Toni is our Social Media Manager and one of our Reformer Pilates Instructors. Toni is also Franki's sister if you hadn't guessed! Toni handles all the background work that goes into running a business! Toni has a wealth of experience and qualifications in Business Management, Marketing and Social Media. Toni chose to become a Reformer Pilates Instructor to encourage other people who may be a little scared or apprehensive to come to class! Toni has PCOS and Endometriosis and has always struggled with her weight, she has lost over 14 stone but openly talks about how she still lives in a curvier body and has never felt comfortable at any fitness classes she has attended throughout her whole life, until now and she really wants to share the positive experience at Balance UK with others! Toni is a great asset to Balance UK.  Outside of work Toni likes to spend her time with family, friends, outdoors in nature and always surrounded by her little dog RIta or adopted ponies and listening to country music or old school dance!

Michelle is one of our Reformer Pilates Instructors. Michelle is Franki and Toni's mum...do you see the theme? Family run businesses just hit different don't they? Michelle has always enjoyed all types of exercise including rebound, dance to music, strength training and walking! Michelle fell in love with reformer the first time she stepped into a class and has never looked back. Michelle really wants to help women navigate through the menopause and use Reformer Pilates as one (of many) tools! Michelle is also a huge asset to Balance UK. Michelle has had a super rough time since she started experiencing symptoms of the menopause 10 years ago after tragically loosing her soulmate Brian, also Franki, Toni and Rico's (brother) dad, but has always found exercise to be a constant in her life to keep her on track, mentally and physically! Outside of work Michelle has her three children, a little dog and loves to spend time with her family, friends and has a keen interest in property!
